Its been a while since I last drop by to pen down my thoughts. Juggling between work, school and church has been rather tiring I would say. At this point, the term 'balanced-work life' just doesn't seems to make sense to me lol.. Anyway all this is coming to an end, at least for now. Left with 2 more weeks before the start of exams, but haven't really start my revision yet. Still trying to rush out our group final assignment due this week before we can really focus on our revision.

Thank God for the bros and sis who are there listening to me, and praying for me. I must admit sometimes when faced with all the problems in life, it just seems hard to submit and let God take control. Thank God that eventually all things begin to fall in place through His grace. Before I end, would like to share with you all this song which has minister to me quite a bit, Hope it will does the same to you :)

Thank God for leading me through the worship last sunday. Frankly speaking, being an indecisive person, when it comes to worship, I just really dunno how to pick the songs that will minister to the church & give God the glory He deserve.I must admits throughout the whole planning, I just stare at the songsheets before me and dunno what songs to choose. Its at that point, when He placed the melodies into my head through the holy spirit that I started to have the songs coming out one by one for the whole worship. How amazing is that!

Exams are just round the corner. Just went to be enrolled for next semester, when this semester is not even over yet. Have to really buck up and prepare real hard for the exams. I hope that I will be able to make God proud :) Please continue to pray for me, still having slight cough. Pray for God's healing grace to be upon me to grant me spedy recovery. thats all, God bless!:)

It's been a long while since I last blogged. Recently, I've been feeling rather lethargic in the area of work. There's always a lot of questions popping out in my mind: What am I still doing here? Why am I not given the recognition? It has sort of affected my performance at work and there isn't any joy in working there. It is when my colleague comment that I've not been smile lately that I began to realise that all these negative thoughts had been eating me up bit by bit.

Yesterday, God has led me to watch the video clip entitled 'Theology of work' forwarded to me by Reuben. In the video, the pastor mentioned 3 aspects of work. Working is a command given by God, It is a means of transformation & it is also a platform on the ministry of reconciliation. As I reflect, God has shown me His grace when He provided me a job when I needed it most. However, as the time passes by, I've let myself be caught in the rat race unknowingly.

God had also send Nick to speak to me, when I went down to School yesterday. I just let out all my frustration, complaints, everything that is affecting me. Nick shared with me his experience in his work. Its normal that all these negative thoughts will start popping out as we work. What most important is our attitude. Are we going to keep thinking about the negative thoughts and let it bother us? We need to turn to our creator, for strength and guidance. Only Him has the answer to all our questions, and He is the only one that can give us peace and comfort.

I've also been feeling gather discourage in the area of ministry. Its like,I've been serving for so long and suddenly I lost the purpose of why do I want to serve. I think what I need is really encouragement and peace. All these, cannot be found in man but only in Him.

Please continue to pray for me, as I seek Him for peace and comfort, and that I will really be submissive to the authority that He has place over me.

Its been quite a while since I last updated. Thank God that Life has been good. Coping well with my work, have quite a bit of fun in organising activities for our recreation club, getting to know the colleagues better through the activities. Going to submit my application for the course either by this week or next week. Finally going back to study again. It really feels good to be back in sch and hopefully if nothing goes wrong, I should be able to complete by 2012 June... Ya I know its still quite long but I really hope to achieve that target.

Had our YF session yesterday. The response is not too bad, 20 people turned up. Had a good time chatting and playing with my group. I'm actually quite excited about it, but also trying to be very careful to take one step at a time. Thus, please continue to pray for YF, we really need your support. This coming april will be quite pack. Got 2 main event, company family day & 2510 event. Please pray for strength and wisdom for the 2510 committee and the casts for the musical. At the end of the day, as we come together, let us be reminded of God's faithfulness and goodness towards the ministries and the workers :)

Had an interview with my boss, been offered an opportunity to go for further studies. on one hand, I'm very glad that I could go for further studies to obtain my degree but on the other hand, the past experience causes me to think if I could really cope with it or it will end up as another failure again. Haiz.. please continue to pray for me as I seek God in the area of deciding whether to take a degree now and under which uni should I enrol in.

Work has been good so far, nice working environment with friendly colleagues and not to forget the brothers & sisters in Christ I got to know also. Its always an encourage to know that there are fellow Christians working together with you in the same company :)

Work has been tiring for the past few days, can't seems to finish it. Being involved in the committee for our coy recreation club, dun really know how to run it and plus all of us are all newbies, haiz hopefully everything will turn out well. Recently, the feeling of excitment to serve the Lord has sort of like dying off slowing. I want to serve and really make a difference in the life of ppls around me.

Everything seems so meaningless... Pray for me, that I will really seek God daily to know how to really serve Him and really put HIM FIRST.

I always feels that at certain parts of our life, we will come to a point where we need to slow down and take a step back to reflect. I think I'm in one of that point right now.

God has been gracious to me with His love and Blessing for me throughout this year. He leaded my family through difficult moments, provided me with a stable job which I'm really thankful. Now as everything starts to stabilise, I can't help but wonder what's next? I believe there is a reason why God has provided me with the stable job and the countless experience of His love. Now, basically I don't have much to worry about. I feels that God is preparing something.

Please pray for me, that God will reveal His plans to me bit by bit and Most importantly, I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and really respond when He calls for me, just like when God ask whom can I send, Isaiah immediately responded, 'Here I am, send me'.

Slacking at home right now... thank God for this time that I can really stayed at home and just slack around no need to rush here rush there. Work has been alright, getting to know the ppl in office better, listening to them talking about their family, kids and realise some of the office politics too. We human are really weak and when ppl cannot get along with each other, grudges will be held against one another which will eventually affect the daily work routine also. Haiz... come to think of it, what do you get eventually at the end of the whole thing? the answer is NOTHING and you ruined your friendship with one another plus you wasted lotsa of time too. Its really not worth it. Please pray that I will be able to be shine for God in my workplace.

Continue to keep the church in your prayer. As I've mentioned to some of you, my vision is to really see gloryjoy bonded as one church not as two seperate congregation. don't know when it will happen but cont to pray for the church and the leaders that God will show them the direction to where the church should head towards.

one more thing, my buddy is going to come back tml!! Its been like close to 10mths since he flew off. Can't wait to see him and hear from him how God has been leading him over there :)

This few days have been quite a enjoyable one for me. Felt rather energized after the praise and worship that we have last Sunday. Thank God for the worship, and the video that He has provided timely :) After the worship, we proceed to the Food Hunt event. I thank God that He has brought Jimmy, Eng Seng, Jun Wen and kang wei to join us in the event. Also, Noppol brought along Wei kian and Guang yi to join us too. All this is not by pure coincidence but is really His provision. I believe all of us had a great time walking around, solving clues and hunting for food.

Later will be going to Ms Sherine's place for a gathering. Really looking forward to it. I mean its been dunno how long since we last have a gathering at her place and plus Ms Joyann is joining us too.Its like back to the good old days man.. but just that this time many of the fellow Judah brothers are not here to join us. Please continue to pray for the brothers and sisters who have left the church or drifted away from God.

Do You Love HIM? Walk the talk!

Haven't been updating lately. God has spoken to me thru the sermon last week. Last week sermon was on Jesus washes His disciples' feet. During the sermon, Rev Lai mentioned on Jesus loves his own that He not just say in mere words but He also puts it into action by wshing His disciple's feet. Jesus loves all that is His own, and we as His children should also loves all that is our own, be it our family or friends. As Rev lai was preaching, Nick post me a question, 'do you love your father'? I was stunned for a while, and immediately felt ashamed of myself. As I must confessed, My relationship with my dad has not been really close. I've always been prejudiced about my dad. Always focusing on all the bad things that he has done and I was so caught up that I forgot that he is my father and the bible says, Honor your parents. Please pray for me that I may show more love towards my father not just in words but also in actions too. Pray also that I may be a good testimony to my family members as well.

Also, after several considerations and seeking of advice, I've decided to withdraw from my current degree studies @ SIM. Now will focus on work 1st, and hopefully, will be able to pursue further studies by next yr June.Please pray for me that I will be focus on HIM and seek HIM continously.

God has once again reminded me to share of His love for all mankind. Few days back, I'm on my way to work. As I reached the Mrt station and walking to the transport pick-up point, I saw a man lying on the floor seems like sleeping. Lotsa people walks past with strange looks on the person. At that moment, the Holy spirit prompted me to walk up to check if that person is alright or not. However, I chose to walk away instead. As I walked away to the pick up point, the Lord reminded me of the story of the good samaritan. I immediately felt ashamed, for I should at least check if that person is alright or not. I asked God for His forgiveness, and I really need to work on treating everyone as children of God, not by their race or nationality.

Just want to tell you all, I'VE FOUND A JOB!!! A BIG thanks to God for His providence :) Manage to got the job through the recommendation of He ling's mum who turn out to be Martin's sister!! Only got to know it on Sunday while having lunch with them. Very surprising, it really proves that Singapore is really small that everyone is connect to eah other one way or another. Have been working for 1 week already. Talk to the HR manager today, will be place on probation for 3 months before deciding whether to confirm me. Really thankful for the Job, transport and meal provided, 5 days work week. Everything just fit so nice for me to study part time. I'm really thankful for God's providence and many thanks to all who have been praying for me :) Please continue to pray that I will be a good testimony among my colleagues and always be humble in learning and excuting of tasks.

Sending out resume has become part of my daily routine I would say. So far still no news for any interviews. Yesterday went down to meet with the recruitment agent to seek job opportunities. went in the morning and in the afternoon she called with an job opening. Initially, everything is good, 5 day work week plus transportation provided etc. After that she called back and say she make a mistake, its 5 days plus alternate saturday. Immediately came to my mind is CE on saturday. I told her about my commitment on Sat, and she said that most of her jobs needs to work on alternate sat. I must admit that at that moment there is really a struggle in me to take up the job, but I know that I've to put God 1st. I turn down the offer instead. However, God is really good.yesterday nite received a call which may provide a job for me, didn't really expect to receive the call I would say. Though its not confirm if i could secure the job, I just want to thank God that He has once again show me that if I trust and commit the issue to Him, He will always provide according to His timing. Just like What the Bible says , His thoughts is higher than ours. AMEN!! :)

Years ago, I was enthralled as I listened to a pastor who for several years had faithfully served the church. His executive responsibilities had taken him all over this country. As he concluded his message, he told of one of the most frightening, yet thought-provoking, experiences of his life.

He had been on a long flight from one place to another. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign on the airplane flashed on: Fasten your seat belts. Then, after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."

As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."

Then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies, and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next, it dropped as if it were about to crash.

The pastor confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying. The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm.

Then, I suddenly saw a little girl. Apparently the storm meant nothing to her. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat on her seat; she was reading a book and every thing within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity,when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid." The minister could hardly believe his eyes.

It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to disembark,our pastor lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time. Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.

The child replied, "'Cause my Daddy's the pilot, and he's taking me home."

There are many kinds of storms that buffet us:
• Physical,
• Mental,
• Financial,
• Domestic, and...
Many other storms can easily and quickly darken our skies and throw our plane into apparently uncontrollable movement. We have all known such times, and let us be honest and confess, it is much easier to be at rest when our feet are on the ground than when we are being tossed about a darkened sky.

Let us remember... Our Father is the Pilot. He is in control and taking us home... so Don't Worry.

Getting back on track

Back to update again. I've informed my boss about me quitting the job, will work till end of the month. After which I will be officially classified as 'unemployed'. Went also to apply for conversion of my course from full time to part time studies instead. However, its still on pending cos I apply only after the deadline so its subject to approval.Please pray for me for this cos quite uncertain right now. Nowis in the midst of hunting jobs, will start to send out resume throughout the week, hopefully by God grace will be able to secure a job that will allow me to work, study and most importantly won't affect my serving in the ministries.

Yesterday after service went out with nick and wei beng to have lunch and catch a movie at AMK Hub. After that went to meet Ken they all at The AMK Garden Macdonald. Have a good chat there, and relfected upon it. My life for the past 1, 2 months have not been in line with God, sort of loses foucs along the way. Now trying to get back on track and in line with God. I need to be more responsible in my words and actions. Please continue to pray for me that my walk with God will be close and I will really live up my life for His Glory.

Dragon Boat event is coming up on 5th July, So far response is quite good. Wanna thank everyone for signing up for the event. Do continue to keep the event in your prayer.

Yesterday went down to Samsung to collect my phone.Have send it in for servicing for like more than 2 weeks but didn't receive any updates from the staff. Thus decide to go down and find out. It turns out that my phone is ready for collection. Finally got back my phone after so long.

Before going down to collect my hone, took a trip down to school to settle my course conversion. Turns out that i need to write an email to inform the course coordinator, then wait for them to bill me then I can go nd make the payment. Troublesome right, having to go through all this procedures whereby i'm there already, wanting to make the payment. In the end, wrote an email to the coordinator, now still waiting for the reply. After that went down to town to meet nick for late lunch. Chit chat a bit, walk around doing window shopping and off we go, back to home.

Now just hope that I can settle my studies fast, and secure a job too.

Exam period is over, went back to Daiso to work again. Quite tiring and sian I would say, may be is because have been resting for two weeks that why began to be a bit lazy. Anyway, will be quitting the job by the end of this month. Now in the midst of job hunting. Hopefully will be able to secure a job and start work by beginning July.
During the break after exam, spend most of the time with my family, going out together for meal and movie. Pretty enjoyable I would say :)

Nothing much to update about. Will stop here for now.

Now in the midst of exam, left with two more papers to clear. Didn't really do well for the 1st two papers but no point crying over spilled milk right? I'm not actually worried about the exams but on whats going to happen after the exam. As some of you may know, I'm in the midst of searching for a full time job to sustain my living expenses and also to pay for my school fees. Please keep me in your prayer that I will be able to secure a job that I'm happy in and at the same time being able to have more time to serve God.

Also on the 31st May, Sunday, there is a event, 'Global Day of Prayer' held at Expo. I would encourage all to go and attend the event. You can find out more through their website @ http://www.gdop.sg/2009/ . Thats all for now, will update more may be after my exams. God Bless!

Time really flies... this month is EXAM MONTH!! Going to take 4 papers in total with 2 papers falling on the same day, and guess what, its on 14th MAY... hhahaha Now don't really have any anxiousness for the exams, which dunno is a good or bad thing. Have been occupied with lotsa of things recently, pretty tired I would say. Just hope that I can quickly get over it and move on. Going to convert my study to part time instead. Please pray for me to be able to secure a full time job. Thats it for now.

Back to blog again. Wanna thank everyone for your prayers support for the past 1 week. Thank God for bringing our family more closer especially for me and my sister. Today went back to school for lecture in preparation for the upcoming final exam in May. Don't know if I can really cope with it, wanted to do well yet there is always that possibilities of not doing well .. dunno what I'm writing also... haiz... plus need to secure a job asap right after my exams in order to start saving for my school fees. Even though there's a lot of uncertainies, one thing I'm sure is, God is in control of everything and I just do my part will do :)

Went for the revision lecture today @ SIM Management House which is located at Hwa Chong there. Happened to see Edina and her friend, Florence who are attending the class too. Its really good to see your friend attending the lecture with you sia if not will really be very bored. The lecture is quite alright,went through the mock exams questions. Realized that I've committed a lot of careless mistake here and there. Tomorrow will be going to school again for the 2nd part of the lecture from 10am all the way to 5pm. Hopefully will be able to start awake through out. Exam is coming REALLY SOON!! Now trying my best to memorize and absorb the materials. Really want to pass and score well sia, the thought of failing the exam is too scaring. Hope that I can really do well for it.

Today went for my 3rd paper for my prelim. Tomorrow will be the last paper for prelim, after that will take a short break before revision lecture starts and then, the final exam for this academic year. I must say that I'm amazed by how God has led me through all the ups and downs, uncertainies... I just hope that I will be discipline enough so as to be a Good testimony among my friends, colleagues and most of all, my family members.

Went to Causway point after my paper to pass the guide book to Eng Seng cos he wants to refer to it to prepare for his paper on friday. Went to walk around the place since it was raining very heavily. After some window shop here and there, we ended at the music junction outlet. Went in to take a look and realise that they offer Dvd rental service. Browse through their catalogue and found one of the movie that I always want to watch but didn't go when it was screening at the cinemas. Decided to rent it back home to watch.

Its entitled,'Away from Her'. Its about a couple who have been married and living together for 44 years i think. Then, the wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Her memories starts to fail, and slowly she couldn't remember about her recent memories. Finally, she couldn't recognise her husband. she was send to a nursing home for proper care. She met another guy in the home and they fall in love with each other. I think it must be pretty hard for the husband. Knowing that your wife couldn't remember who you are, and somemore falls in love with another guy. However, he stood by his wife, always visit her everyday, caring for her.

It was a good show I think, Brings out the love between the husband and wife, living up to the vow of 'Till death do us part'.

Today attended the last lecture for Financial Reporting. Learnt about deferred taxation. Today's mood was like more relaxing though there is alot of Q & A here and there. Tomorrow will be attending the final lecture for this semester. Time really flies~ now is already the end of the term, if you ask me what I've achieved so far, I really cannot answer it. It seems that I've really been wasting my time instead of focusing on my studies. Thank God that, He send Eng Seng to come and motivate me to start revision for our prelims. For the past two weeks have been going to school or Woodlands library for our revisions. Althought prelims will not be accounted for in the results but I still want to at least get a pass for it.

I thank God that He has always been with me from the beginning till now... cos when I first ORD and decided to go to study in SIM, there is alot of hiccups here and there, school fees, all that... but He has always been there to encourage me... yes I must admit that I've make dozens of mistakes along the way, but I always tell myself that God always has a plan for me... just like what HE say in Jeremiah 29:11. As I reflect, from my ord to SIM to my Baptism.... God has work miraculous in my life.

Now I just pray that, the decisions that I going to make in the near future will be pleasing to Him. Also, pray that I will be able to get a full time job as an account/audit assistant. thats it for now

Lessons are coming to an end soon... received my timetable for the prelim. it will start from end of next month to 1st week of march. Began to feel the pressure and the stress... final exams are just 3 months away.... and I still dun have the determination or zeal to really study hard and get over it. Can somebody help me!! feel so frustrated about it.. haiz.... Think will work till end of march like that... if not will not be able to focus... still got assignment to complete plus test next week... haiz.. the thought of it really makes me real sian...

Yesterday went early to church to prepare myself as I'm leading the worship for the service. Reached at around 0950, saw Nydia and Melissa they all, going for their cell group. While I was there alone, I felt the quietness and stillness. Yes, I may screwed up by not preparing the laptop in advance, singing out of tune, being so nervous but eventually I hope that the message I want to share is being brought across to all and most of all, the worship will be pleasing in God's eyes.

After the service, went for lunch with Ken they all @ Cavana, Sun Plaza. After which, because all don't have program so decided to head back home to rest for a while before going down to SSC to work. Yesterday work was pretty alright, just doing some shifting and re-arranging here and there. The clicks dropped by to say hi to me while I was working. After work, got a call from ken, offering me a ride home (Thanks alot, ken :) ). I really thank God that He places me to work at Daiso. As, I really like the job environment, the friendly colleagues and boss. Even though sometimes may get frustrated on work but God is still there to remind me not to sin when we are angry. I just hope that i will remind myself constantly not to take it for granted and continue to try my best to shine for JESUS!! :)

this week has been quite taxing... finally submitted my FR assignment yesterday.. my thumb drive officially declared dead... sad sia... now have to make do with a 256mb one 1st... will buy a new one next month.. Prelim exam is coming in just 2 months time.. begin to feel the pressure... must realy start to buckup and prepare for the exam. can't seems to write anything now..

Yesterday went out with Platoon 14 click plus arthur to Bugis for movie and dinner. Went to watch Seven Pounds ,starring Will Smith. The show is nice, though the flow is quite slow. However, didn't like the storyline at the later part of it. Overall, its a nice show. After that went around to look for dining place, ended up at a chicken rice stall just opposite bugis. Went for dessert at nearby shop while beng went to collect his jeans. then after that went off to Mac @ AMK garden for coffee talk. It was a time well spend cos its been ages since we last sat down to have a good chat. Really need to remind myself to continue to pray, not just for myself but also for the peoples around me. As the new chapter of the year unfold, I hope that I can do better for God and to be His shining light to the people around me.

Later will be dropping by the library in the afternoon. Its been ages since I last went there. Need to do some research for the assignment that is to be due next wednesday. I know I know, why do I procastinate till now then do? Well, simply its laziness thats eating me up... So from now till wed, got to rush thru, hopefully, will be able to complete it. Thats all for now, got to go prepare for class.

Just noticed that this will be my 201th post for my blog. kind of suprise me that i got quite a lot of craps to write about hahaha.. anyway, last two week was quite well spend I think. Firstly is of course my BAPTISM!!! Finally, by God's grace, was baptised on 21122008 @ Sembawang Beach with the whole church and not to forget, GOD witnessing the ceremony. Was really excited about it, just can't seems to describe it, felt really nervous also. Really wanna thank God for letting my parents to allow me to get baptised this year.

Went for carolling on Xmas eve. Acted as the shepherd together with winson. It was really fun, going from one house to another, singing about the birth of Christ. Hope that we can have something like this next year but not me as shepherd or what ahhaha...

Also, today is my 4th working day at Daiso, SSC outlet. So far so good. The japanese boss is quite nice and the staffs there is also very friendly. Think will continue to work till middle of april like that. Cos need to prepare for my exams which starts from may all the way till june.

This month has been quite a busy month for me. lotsa of stuff going on, carolling, Gliderz round up nite, going for baptism class and not to forget the tonnes of assignments and 'holiday package' prepared by our dear lecturers. However, wanna thank God that I'm finally been allowed by my parents to get baptise :) the baptism class with Patrick has been fruitful to me. The notes provided is very useful and act as a reminder for me. Its just 3 more days to my baptism, getting more and more excited as the date draw nears.

Will be going for a part time job interview tomorrow. Hopefully, will be able to secure the job. thats it for now. Back to work.....

Just came back from Joyann's place, went there for dinner. Its been quite sometime since we last have dinner together as a group, though eventually only me and dennis eat together cos I got class in the late afternoon. Thus, we arrived late. Anyway, though we didn't talk much but I'm really glad to see her. Anyway, I was browsing on the net to find the video clips for song then I came across this song : Cry out to Jesus by Third Day. Hasn't been blogging for quite sometime, decided to drop by to update. Last weekend was spend in the running of the Youth Camp @ CHR. Help out in the area of sound and logistics. It was really tired I would say.. Cos have to keep shifting the sound equipment from one room to the other and back to the room again..haha and also at the same time need to help jonathan with the preparations of the meals for the whole camp. I think its been a while since I felt so tired.. haha but I'm glad that able to know some of the campers like gerold and Jaiver. I think the camp also served as a chance for me to rededicate myself back to God's service again. I felt rather refresh by the sermons and the worships.

Anyway, yesterday went to Vivo with jon, beng and arthur for the musical: sunshine girl. Okay la, the show not bad, the songs also quite nice but the duration is only 1 hour. Its my first time attending musical, looks quite interesting. after that went to Wendy's to meet nick for supper. Chat a while and then proceed to amk drive thru Mac cos wendy's close at 1030pm. But guess what, the moment we step into Mac, the staff starts to off some of the lights. When we asked them what's going on, they say 'system maintenance', the outlet will closed at 11pm. How great is that huh.. haha so after that decide to go home lor.

I think I seriously need to buck up for my studies. Being reprimanded by our lecturer during Financial Reporting class. I think it act like a wake up call for me ba.. anyway, he gives us a ''present': an assignment with 5000 words due beginning of next month and not to forget the holiday package that is yet to be delivered to us. Please pray for me and if can remind me to work hard for my school work. thanks alot and God bless .

tests are over.. foreseen will flunk very badly.. well even though I know that all this will not be reflected in my final results, I know its a wake up call for me.. gotta work really hard for good results.. went for the youth camp meeting, spend about 3 hours, listening to the games briefing and at the same time tie down some loose ends. Yup thats right, youth camp is just 1 week away!!! so fast, please keep the camp and campers in your prayers :)

After the meeting, went to Chong Pang Nasi lemak for makan, happens to see yvonne and her cousins there. After makan, went to Jonathan's house to stay over cos need to get the logistics items the next day. Went out early to have our breakfast and at the same time hunt for new supplier for the breakfast. after that went to School to get the logistics items and load them up to 589A to wash and pack them to one corner. Spend the whole afternoon doing all this and I must really say, today is really a very HOT day. I thought I was gonna get heat exhaustion sia... after that came back home to rest. Later will be going to patrick's house. Thats it for now.

Lord, please help me to really trust in You and not to be afriad.

Alright, hasn't been updating for quite some time. Things are pretty much the same for me, just that the topics taught in lecture is getting tougher and tougher, trying to cope and understand the topics. Went back to teach the boys CE after a long break of 2 months, glad to see them,even though not many turn up for the parade. Really enjoy being with them, teaching them about God even though I'm quite limited on my knowledge. Youth camp is coming soon, in just 2 weeks time. tomorrow will be having my worship rehearsal for the camp. Felt really guilty, cos have been dragging it for so long... but i feel a bit unease, cos hasn't been leading worship for like 2 years? then suddenly like lost of touch, dunno how to go about in the planning all that.... I just hope and pray that whatever I've planned or done may be pleasing unto God.

Yesterday was doing my own quiet time, was reading on the book of Matthew. came to this verse which keep me pondering:

19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said,"and I will make you fishers of men." 20 At once they left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 4:19-20

I was like thinking, if at this moment God call me to His service , will I be able to put down everything just like Simon and Andrew did, and follow Him? I must admit that right now I'm not unable to do that... this is the area I really need to work on, casting everything aside and start to seriously live my life by faith not by the material things around me.

Yesterday's lecture was challenging. The moment we settle down at the hall, the lecturer begin to ask alot of questions on the previous lecture which is 2 weeks ago. Many couldn't answer (and that includes me too), He say honeymoon is over, here comes the taste of living in Hell. whoo... so scary sia hahaha... but if his method really help me to score well, I will gladly accept it :) oh ya next week lecture will be really long, 6 hours of lecture in one day for this module: Financial Reporting. Hopefully I will be able to remember all that I learn during the lecture ba. Okay, back to revision.

Today as usual is a no-school day for me :) So spend the day at home rotting, suppose to meet Leonard in the evening to go for a run but in the end was cancelled. Spoke to Jonathan via the msn, he has found a church to worship, which is near the place that he is gonna stay. After that, he share with me about the sermon that he has heard which minister to him a lot. Thus, I went to the Church website: www.subiacochurch.com to download the sermon. The sermon is on the book of Mark, Chapter 5:1-20. It speaks on how we, thought proclaimed of our faith in Christ, but yet most of the times unwilling to let go and let Christ took over the control of our life. I would strongly encourage all to go to the website and download the sermon to listen.

Alright, yesterday went to Gliderz after service to play some boardgames with the click. Its been a while since we really gather together just to play game like risk. Spend the whole afternoon there, after that proceed down to Little Part 1 Cafe for our dinner. Really loves the place a lot, the environment, the food, the cosiness and most importantly the peoples that I went with :) We had a lot of funs playing simple childhood games like Donkey and Old Maid.. hahaha..

After which, we head down to Starbucks @ Thomson Plaza for a drink. Really loves to be among the click, laughing and teasing one another, catching up with one another. Really thank God for this group of friends that He has granted me with :) Also, I'm really glad to see Kheng Sheng who has passed out of OCS ler, knowing that he is coping well with his current posting.

Lastly, Leonard is flying off to Australia tomorrow for training while Jonathan will be back tomorrow from Australia. Please pray for safety journey mercy for both of them. Also, not to forget our dear brother Kang Wei who is away in Brunei, he is coping well there, pray that he will be able to attend the church service there and also not to feel discouraged but to cont to seek God for comfort and strength. First of all, wanna wish our dear winnie a very Happy 17th Birthday!! Just came back from his birthday celebration at 589A. Hope he is happy with the foods and the gifts prepared for him :)
Was watching TV at home in the afternoon, and came across this movie screening at Starhub Cable TV. The movie is titled: 'The Flying Scotsman'. It is about an amateur Cyclist(Scottish), Graeme Obree, who make his way to break the world record and how he, through all the obstacles, emerged as the world record holder.

I think it is very inspiring to me. Cos the movie shows me how Obree, after failing to break the world record(Which has been kept for 9 years), never gave up and challenge the record the next day and broke the world record. After that, his record was broke one week later and he went through a time of depression.After some time, He walk out of it and went on to challenge the world record again and eventually, break the record.

Its the 'never say die' spirit that encourage me alot. Even though we may be successful at this moment and fail at the next moment, if we have the faith and courage, we will be able to overcome it and achieve our goal. I just hope that I can be like him, have the faith and courage to trust in HIM and eventually achieve my goals/targets.

Decided to check my mailbox before going to bed. Went to the SIM Portal to check mail and realise that I could check my results via the net and guess what? I PASSED!!!!!! Both the modules some more... hahaha I'm so happy sia, really thank God for the results even though I screwed up during my Econs paper, he still provide me with a minimum passing grade of D and for Math, B-. I really want to thank God cos for the pass few days , I've been thinking about the grades even though I know that we should commit to the Lord since there is nothing we can do about it. Having the modules pass means I would advance straight to Year 2, paying a year less of school fees which could add up to 7k++.... Thus, I really want to thank God for lessening the burden

Also, I think its time that I straighten things out and really seriously pray and plan about what I'm gonna do be it in the ministry or in my studies. Cos I know I'm always talk and talk and talk but no action...

Couldn't really sleeps right now... may be is because just now I slept too early thus causing me to wake up in the middle of the night and unable to fall asleep again. Getting my Bridging results today, don't know what grades I would get but I just pray that I could pass both the modules. The thoughts of having to repeat the modules is really terrible. Think the results will be delivered to me via mail.

Anyway, went to Patrick's house for cell group cum dinner session on Friday. The dinner is really superb!! Enjoy the food alot, must say a big thank you to Patrick's mum indeed :) Its so good that I try to cook one of the dish at home for my mum the next day, though the result is not as good as hers...hahaha... after the dinner, we went to the room for cell group. Only wei beng, Patrick and me. For the session, we talk about lukewarmness, definition and why it happen and how do we overcome it. We spend about 2 hours just discussing on the topic... not to forget prayers and sharings with one another. I've learnt about this daily bread thing that you can listen to by calling. Its quite good I would say, however its delivered in Mandrain... hahaha If you are interested, let me know I can give you the number.

Today is really a tiring day for many of us who went to help out for the fund raising event. Woke up at 0745 to wash up and head down to Heeren to meet Tai Meng and volunteers to set up the booth for the event. After setting up and went thru some briefings, we starts to make the balloons and take them out to sell. However after a while, the weather started to turn bad, it began with drizzling and then heavy rain. We are being restricted to the shelters to sell the balloons. Thankfully, after a few hours, the rain began to turn small and eventually stops. After that, we began to sell the balloons at a lower price to try to clear stock .

Thank God that the participating teams are able to sell off quite a lot of balloons, thus eventually help us to achieve our target. I actually quite like to be involved in this kind of events, think i will definitely help out if there is any opportunity in the future. Cos it help me to build up contacts, and at the same time interact with people :) Alright got to go and rest if not cannot wake up for tomorrow service.

Today is yet another fruitful day for me.. Woke up early in the morning, get change and took a bus down to Arthur's house for the weekend jogging. Reached his place, was surprise that I'm the first one to reach. Waited for a while, timothy came. Then waited for a while more, still no one came. In the end, called them up and realised that all of them had overslept... haha... In the end, the 3 of us
went downstairs to do our warm-up and began our jog. Today we took a new route, running from Avenue 12 to Gambas Ave then reach back to Arthur's condominium entrance. However, I ran till near the end of Ave 12, already shack out ler.. so took a shorter route with Arthur while Timothy continued on. In the end clock about 5 km on timing, 29:30.

After that, went to Zai Lai for coffee and happen to meet ken they all. So sat there for a while, after that went to Church for Service. Today worship and sermon really minister to me alot. The sermon touch on the Book of Romans Chapter 10. The following verses really struck me alot:

14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

As I ponder upon the word and reflects on my life, I've realised that throughout my walk with Christ, I've been overcome by my own personal problems that I forgot what my purpose in this world is. I've never really took the initiative to reach out to people, to share the good news with them. Its always when I'm task to do it , then I do it. I just thank God that through the worship and sermon, He helps me to realise my problem. I just pray that, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, I will always remind myself to commit to God fully as a instrument to further thy Kingdom.

P.S. S'pore lost to China during the table-tennis final... but I'm still glad that we got Silver!! Go Singapore!

Today has been a great and fruitful day for me! Went to meet Hwee Chee and click at Sembawang Mrt Station before heading down to 589A for our Balloon Sculpture training. Manage to get Anthony to come and teach us (Thanks alot, Bro! :)) . Learn to make a lot of stuff, from the simple one like sword, dog, flower, to sophisticated one like bear (My favorite!!), elephant, snail.. in total we spent about 4 hours just to practice and master the skill.. after the session really shack out sia..
Wanna thank Uncle Paul too for liaising the using of the venue for us, if not we will not have a place to practice ler...

Currently, we are still in need of volunteers for the fundraising event. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!! If you are INTERESTED in Balloon Sculpture and is available this SATURDAY, please do let me know. Trainings will be provided for those who are interested.

After the training session, went to Mr. Richard's place for prayer meeting. Spilt into two groups and did some sharings on our personal issues. Also, pray for the search for Adult Pastor and the Church rebuilding project.

Shall go and rest soon, going for the run tomorrow :)

Well, today went to school for my Econs paper. Forgotten a few of the models, a bit screwed up I would say. Anyway, what done is done, no point crying over spilled milk... all I can do now is to leave it to Him.....

Kang wei flew off early this morning, taking a mid night flight. Didn't went to send him off, cos need to revise for today's paper. Do keep him in your prayer, cos believe me, it will be rather tough to be away from home for a year. Got a lot of things to settle for the fund raising project, getting the venue for training, liaising with the people, discussions... everything... just pray that all will turn out well on the actual day.

Went for a job interview to work as Assistant Facilities Officer in school. Don't know whether will get the job or not... just commit everything to Him ba...

I've just slept for only 3 hours.. and some more only fell asleep at around 1am plus... cos when I close my eyes, the formulas and equations everything will start to appear here and there.. now I couldn't make myself to go to sleep... can't believe that I'm actually having insomnia because of the bridging math exam which I'm actually quite confident to pass... This is really so not me... may be is because its been a while since I really went into a hall for written exam... just pray for me ba... since I'm awake now, I shall spend the time effectively by revising on the formulas...

Now slacking at home... will be going to SIM for lecture later.. from 1530 to 1830.. a bit regret for selecting the slot that is so late... after that will be heading down to Sembawang to meet up with Hwee Chee for the discussion on the fund raising project. Please pray for smooth planning and execution of the project, cos right now we have not done much yet and the event is happening in just two weeks time...

Anyway, last Sunday, went for a run early in the morning with my church mates. We ran from one end of Ave 9 to Republic Poly then run back to Arthur's place. Think the distance is about 5km, and glad that I'm managed to complete the run without stopping, though got slow down a bit :) Its been a while since the last time I ran so now my thighs still aching... After the run, wash up, have breakfast and head down to church for service. After that, had our lunch at Sembawang, Mac. Dunno why, kinda dislike fast food ler... think old liao la hahaha... after that head to gliderz to slack and wait for the rest to finish their makeover. Head to AMK Hub to have our dinner, after which went to Star bucks @ Thomson Plaza to slack. On the way there, Ken share with me about the situation in BB. Actually was asking myself, what really stop me from serving BB as officer? Its seems that there isn't one currently..... must really make up my mind and settle it once and for all...

Will be having exams tomorrow and Friday... please keep me in your prayer... by the way, kang wei will be leaving to Brunei for a year. He will be taking a mid-night flight on Friday. Please keep him in your prayer too.

Just came back from Service. This week is the start of our church mission month. Today Sermon is on the history of mission from the early times till now. Its rather dried I would say, but I quite like it cos its touch more on the history side.. hahaa.. anyway, Rev Lai spoke about us being the 4th wave of mission, that is to spread and share the gospel with every individual around us. Think for me I really need to work on this area, cos I've not really been sharing the gospel with others. Pray for me that I will be brave enough to share the gospel with others when opportunity arises.

Anyway, headed to Sun plaza for lunch after service. Saw Trina at the bus interchange, and guess what? She got bring the book!! Thank God that Trina happens to buy the book: Ugly by Constance Briscoe so can borrow from her to read. Thanks, trina :) Think not going out ler ba... unless they later got meet for dinner. Thats it for now. :)

Just came back from lecture... decided to blog for a while before going down to buy dinner. Today woke up at around 10, feeling rather refresh, and wanna share a good news with you all: I'VE GOTTEN MY DRIVING LICENSE!! hahaha... it is delivered to my house this morning.. so happy sia... So now can officially drive vehicle liao... anyone wanna let me try out?? hahaha....

Anyway, went to school in the afternoon for the last lecture for bridging Economics. Not really a lecture, but a revision on the topics.. so fast last lesson liao... going to have the exam in 2 weeks time. Please pray for me that I will be discipline enough to practice on the models and do well for the exam. Also, will be attending the last revision lecture for Bridging Math this Wednesday. After which, will have one week break before commencing the school term on 5th August.

Hopefully, by God's grace, will be able to pass the bridging exams to advance to year 2.

Today is another mentally drained out day for me. Have been facing alot of difficulties in Math on the topic matrices. Can't seems to get the answer right all the time... after going through ll the calculation and writing then in the end realise the answers is incorrect, the feeling is really.... urgh!! then still have to re-do again. Think I really need to practise more on the topic to better prepare myself for the exam.

After the lesson, went to causeway point to have cell group. Didn't touch on the material, but did some sharings and discussions... after that me and kang wei went to meet leo cos he end work late while jon and wei beng went off due to rehearsal and tution. went to woodgrove city to have dinner. share on recent happenings, leo's work etc....

Think I need to buck up a bit.... seems that my life is lacking some things ... don't know what it is... I want to be independent, not relying on people, able to self provide... but its seems not possible right now..

Yesterday was really a tiring and sleepy day for me.... started to rain heavily early in the morning... makes me feel even sian to go for the lecture... some more its econs... but being a OBEDIENT student and not wanting to waste my money, I still went for the lecture.. hahaha... The lecture is quite alright, manage to understand it and I manage to stay awake all the way till the last 15-30 mins or so hahaha great achievement for me liao hahaha... so fast we have reach the last chapter of the whole course, that means I've to start revising for the exams. Hopefully, by God's grace, will be able to pass the exam cos passing means exemption of one more module le, very crucial.

After the lesson, suppose to head down to town to meet up with Hwee Chee but in the end the rest cannot make it, thus we meet at Sun Plaza instead. While waiting for her to come, I head to Popular to see if there is any new interesting books. I was browsing through the books, then I saw Nicholas Sparks new novel: The Choice. Read the prologue, seems not bad I would say. Also, read the prologue of the book: Ugly by the author, Constance something.... forgotten her last name. I think currently, these books will be on my buying list if I happens to have extra cash ahahaha...

Anyway, after that received call from her that she will be late, so went to the library (no place to go liao...) went to the world histor section and pick a book to read. Happens to get a book that talks about a lady who had survived world war 2 and how her life is before and afte the war. Interesting I would say, through her descriptions about her childhood and how the war started all that...

Received a call from her, went down to meet her. Start to have discussion on the event... had a few ideas in mind, now need to tie down a few details, and wait for the decision from the organizer. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly ba...

Please pray for me, still trying to secure tution assignments... hopefully will be able to earn enough to cover my monthly expenses....

Just came back from cell group an hour ago.... feeling rather tired right now...... Econs is really boring!! I really need extra strength and concentration to stay awake in the lecture sia.... the material is really dry and there is not much hands on... its just graph, formulas, graph, formulas.... how irritating can that be... haiz.... Can't imagine that I'm gonna take it again in year 2 and the best part of it, the module: managerial econs, is a killer among all econs module!!! Please pray for me that I can absorb the materials given to me and quickly get over the econs modules........

Bridging course is coming to an end soon.... will be having the exams on 13 and 15 august. Not worry about Math since its the subject I like alot :), left with only econs, once i get over these two, will immediately promote to year 2. Praying hard that will be able to get thru..........

Today lesson as per normal, from 2-5pm @ SIM HQ. Had Math lesson today, started to feel more and more comfortable with the course. Yes, I've to admit there is a certain level of difficulties on some of the topics, but when managed to solve the questions, that sense of achievement is indescribable :) Thus, now I'm quite comfortable with Math. Whereas for Econs, I'm kinda worried cos its involved a lot of graph drawing and lotsa of formula to memorise. Thus, please pray for me for added strength and wisdom to be able to understand the topics and score well for both the exams.

Anyway, after school suppose to go to causeway point to meet up with Judah for cell. However, last minute got some changes thus postponed to next week. Just nice, called my sis and realised she is also at causeway point with my mum. went to met up with them, accompanied them to do some shopping then went back home together.

Please pray for my family, as specially my parents. Just now we are at the bus interchange, then saw 911 coming, wanted to board so walk a bit faster but in the end , didn't board cos my mum wasn't feeling very well. When chatting with her, she suddenly say, ' I'm no longer that fit anymore, I know it myself....' This kept me thinking for a while... It seems that I've been living together with my mum for so long, that I've kinda taken her for granted... haizz.... It really knock some sense into me... I need to care more about her, not just her health but also her chance to get to know and accept Christ. Really need to work on it... Also, pray for my dad, he recently got a business opportunity, to help out his friend in some steel business in indonesia. Pray that everything will go smoothly for him. Also, my sis, starting school soon, please pray that she will have a chance to know more about Christ through her classmates and the school environment.

I think thats about it la, I just pray that I will be about to fulfill my role as a son, a friend, and most important, a follower of Christ.........

Just came back from prata session with the click. Reach home saw durian on the table, couldn't resist it so took a bit of it hahaha really shiok sia..... Anyway, received call from lovelle (which is so unusual) asking whether wanna go for supper at prata house. Being bored and wanting to have a cup of teh tarik, so agreed to it.

Enjoyed the session alot, talk about a lot of things, youth camp issues and some chit chatting.... hahaha.. it feels really great to be among the group of them, lotsa of laughter and can also destress ...Thank God for providing m with friends like you all, bringing me so much fun and laughter... as for the thing that we talk about, I will work on it one ahhaahha................

God has shown me a glipse of hope on the loan issue, but will continue to pray about it, committing everything to Him for I know He will provide in His own timing, just like what He say in the verse stated on top :)

Thats all for now, one more thing, please pray for my baptism, cos I hope that by His grace, I can convinced my parents (esp. my dad) to allow me to get baptised at the end of this year. Thus, keep me in ur prayer ba ! thanks alot and God bless ! :)

Just received a phone call from the bank while I was on my way home. Being informed that the application is unsuccessful... dunno why but some how before the bank called, already got a feeling that it may not be successful... so when being notified, though a bit disappointed, but still able to deal with it calmly. Have asked the bank to put my application on hold 1st, while I search for another joint applicant. Please pray for me, that I will commit everything to the Lord and not to worry too much, trusting that God will provide me with the need. Also, pray that I will be able to find another applicant soon.

Dunno why woke up so early today.... nearly 6am in the morning.... think must be the red wine that I took yesterday.. now feeling rather thirsty...

Anyway, yesterday received a message from leonard, asking whether want to have steamboat at his house... well not wanting to disappoint him and the fact that I've not taken my dinner yet, I accepted his invitation :) Went to his house at around 2030, brought a bottle of wine with me. Kang wei and Jonathan also came for the occasion. Well, if you noticed, our group seems to be short of one more member right? ahahahaha... Anyway, had a good time chatting with one another, and you know what? Jonathan also brought a bottle of wine with him.... hahaha we really have a lot of things in common :) In the end, we decided to open his wine instead since kang wei don't drink and jonathan is driving so cannot drink also. Thus, only left with me and leo :) good for me hhaahaha... cos I think I manage to finish half a bottle hahaha... Shiok sia... long time never drink liao, so after that my head felt a bit heavy... hhahaha.... Left Leo's house at around 11 plus... once reach home, change and immediately fell asleep all the way until morning....

We should have more of this in the future, good for the bonding and good for me too :) ahahaa

Yesterday went to meet up Hwee Chee and Kangwei for dinner at Sembawang. On the way there, saw Esther and her boyfriend. Chat a while, heard from her that she is also studying in SIM under RMIT, what a coincidence I would say. When I saw her, I still feel a bit inferior when talking to her, don't know why also haha.... anyway, met up with them, went to admiral hill for dinner. Had a good chat with them, stayed till around 10 then leave. Went to her house to get the cd of the photos taken during the charity bowl.

I thank God that I'm able to be around when my friends needed me. Though many a times I may not be of much help to them, but God granted me a listening ear, to be able to just sit there listening to them, sharing their problems and thoughts. Volunteering Job is rather interesting, think will try to get more involved in the area.

Woke up early today to meet Hwee Chee and friends for the SDA Charity Bowl @ Mt Faber SAFRA. Didn't really know what to expect at the event. Thank God for the opportunity, cos manage to have some interaction with the SDA members. Our teams consist of 1 team leader, 2 volunteers and 1 SDA Member. There are total 2 teams from SDSC. My team leader is Eileen who is from SDSC and also my junior from NYP SBM. Get to know also Yuan Sheng who is the SDA member in my team.

The Charity Bowl consists of 3 game. There is a total of 25 teams participating in the charity bowl. Started the game from 0930 all the way till 1200 noon. Had a good chat with Yuan Sheng, and his mum. Yuan Sheng is very friendly and open, easy to talk with, can see that he enjoyed alot during the session. Also, I've a lot of respect towards his mum, Auntie Winie. Cos I cannot imagine how difficult it is to raise Yuan Sheng up. Also, get to know Eileen, Joel and Eugene :) Overall, played rather well throughout, gotten a total score of 325 for 3 games even though our team got 2nd last in the end ahahahaa

After this event, I find it rather interesting to be able to be involve in the voluntary work. May be will participate more in the events in the future :) Alright later will be meeting hwee chee and jonathan click for dinner.... going to rest for a while :)

Went to the bank in the morning to settle my application of the loan. The staff told me that it will take 5 working days to process the loan application. Now praying very hard, keeping my finger cross, hoping that , by God's grace, the application will be successful.

After that went back home to rest a while, then head down to my grandma's house at Bt Panjang together with my sis and mum. Its the first time I went down since the return of my tour 2 months ago. The place is still the same but the feeling is not the same anymore. In the past, when I dropped by, I will always be able to see my grandma sitting at the sofa, smiling at me upon seeing me, asking me hows my life... still misses her alot... haiz.....

anyway, after that, went for cell group at patrick's place. Had a good chat with the click, discuss on decision making and other stuffs. Like what many of us mentioned, our cell group is now going on transition phase. going overseas for perm staff, for studies, going for NS, basically eventually will left me alone in the cell. May be who knows, God is trying to tell me or us that we should start to bring in new ppl to expand the cell... haha...

Yesterday, before I go to SSDC, went to causeway point to have my photo taken, cos need it for the application. While waiting for the photo to be ready, I went to popular to kill time. Was surprised to find a couple of interesting books there, have put it down in my list, hopefully will be able to buy it :)

Haven't been updating for the past few days...... Let me start from the day that Spain won the EURO championship. Went for dinner on that day after the worship seminar which lasted for nearly 3 hours plus I think. Everyone is thinking where to go for dinner so I suggested to go Little Part 1 cafe @ Jasmine Road cos I wanted to go that place for quite some time ler hahaha. The place is rather cosy I would say, food is not bad, I like the environment and price is reasonable (no GST, no service charge somemore), drop by again some other time. After that, went to Starbucks @ Thomson plaza to chill out cos its still early before we head to ken's house for the screening of the EURO final. Went to his house, had a great chat with the gals, having them to entertain me hahaha... watch the final, Spain played pretty well I would say, with all the thru pass while Germany's defence is quite weak, always let Spain cut through. The whole match, I was basically, in the mist of dozing off and waking up, cos it becomes rather boring after Spain scored a goal in the 1st half. After that, Cabbed home with Arthur and Pretty Boy. Slept for a few hours then wake up to rush down to SSDC for my BTT. Was rather shack, so couldn't really think very well, plus I'm also afraid that I will fail (due to the fact that I failed twice before). Thus, spend quite long to finish it, and by God's grace, I PASSED!!!! Finally, able to pass and convert my license.. hahahah

Then yesterday, went out with the click to celebrate Jon and Lovelle's Birthday. Went to Sweet Indulgence @ Stanley St (another place on my list.. hahaha) to have our dinner. Ordered the spaghetti Marinara, so-so only. The sauce is not bad, but the sea food especially the small clams makes it rather difficult to eat. So far, I think the best Spaghetti marinara I've eaten is from Fig & Olive @ Bencoolen St. The portion is just nice and its sea food is good too. Anyway, after that, went to Timbre @ Arthouse for some drink. Didn't really enjoy it cos the environment is rather noisy and I'm not a Pub goer so think this will be my first and last time there ba.

Today, didn't go for the freshman orientation. Stayed at home the whole morning and went out in the afternoon to SSDC to convert my license. After so long, and by God's grace, I've managed to convert it!!! Yeah!!! So as of now, I'm offically legal to drive in Singapore!! Will be getting my license through mail in a month's time... really very happy sia...

Thats all for now, will not be going to Church this sunday as need to go to Mount Faber to help out hwee chee with some charity bowl event.

Alright back again to blog, have been going to school for lectures for the past few days. Quite enjoy the journey traveling from home to school, listening to my mp3 and looking at scenery as the bus drive pass. Lectures have been rather interesting and yet hectic at the same time. Every day have to travel down to SIM in the afternoon to attend the lecture for full 3 hour non-stop, yes non-stop. Thank God that economics so far has been rather interesting (though i fell asleep somtimes.. ahaha) and math is just like attending a revision class. This routine will carry on till the end of July where by we will be preparing for the exam. Now I just pray hard that I will be able to pass the exam and skip straight to year 2. This will ease my burden financially, having to pay one year lesser of school fees which can cost up to 5-6k.

Will be going down to the bank to settle my bank loan tomorrow. Stil haven't really decide on the amount, so tomorrow will go and ask the loan officer about every details. Hopefully, everything will be smooth sailing for me. Pray for me also, will be taking my BTT on Monday morning, hopefully will be able to pass then i will be able to convert my license ler :) Thats all for now will update more next time

Today weather is quite cooling in the morning, because of the drizzling rain. Today's sermon is very good. it talks about living each day like the last days of our life and always be prepared for the return of Christ for we don't know when He will return. Its short and simple to understand, you can go read up 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11.

I think in our life, we always set goals to achieve in, like getting a decent diploma/degree, get a stable job, find a girl/boy friend etc.... but have we really set aside goals that we want to achieve in our spiritual walk with the Lord? I must confess many a times, i will tend to focus too much on my goals and things I want to do that I forgotten that My primary task in this world is to share Christ's love with people and friends around me. Yes, qualifications and stable job may be essential, but it will only satisfy our material needs but not our spiritual needs. I want to be one that is able to make a difference in other people's life even if its only 1 person. Please pray for me, that I will be able to put God as priority and to honor Him always as I move on to the new environment. Will be starting the bridging course tomorrow, hope that I will be able to cope with it and pass the bridging course to get full exemptions from year 1 modules.

Being approached to take up responsibilities in the ministries, please pray for me that I will be able to come up with a decision through God's aid.

Today is quite a fruitful day for me... went to meet up with zhong wei, edina and her friend, Nick @ YCK in the afternoon for an hour of badminton. Had a good time with them, very long didn't play ler, after the game, both legs felt rather tiring I would say haha but still think that 1 hr is too short for us ler.... may be next time will book or 2 hours instead.... I think badminton is a good sport to bring us together since we haven't ben playing for quite a while and also e haven't been seeing each other for quite some time too :) Thus, anyone wanna meet up for a few games of badminton next month?! If interested please let me know, i will try to arrange but no guarantees hor :) After the game, we head to amk to have our dinner and also chit chat with one another, trying to find out more about each other and it turns out that Edina is my senior in my degree course lor somemore she last year liao... hahaha so can ask her alot of Qns, may be can borrow her notes also for reference hahaha..

After that head down to patrick's house for Cell Group. Today didn't touch on the material, but just plain discussion on issues like money mgmt. Think its quite impt for all of us now, as our spending tends to get higher as compare to previous so must learn to cut down on entertainment and privileges...... Hopefully, I will be able to do that... Also, have decided to take loan from RHB will try to settle everything bythis two weeks.......... Pray for me that it will be according to God's will. ...... Yesterday was a terrible day for me. Being woken up at 8 am in the morning by a severe headache. Initially thought that this is the side effect of not enough sleep so didn't really care much about it (even agreed to go out with Nick they all to watch 'get smart'). listened to the holy spirit prompting and thus turn them down. I thank God that I didn't go out with them cos the worst thing happened in the mid afternoon. My headache became worst in the afternoon, couldn't really do anything... Took 2 panadol and take a short nap but it didn't turn out well. Took my temperature at night and shock me, its 39.1 degrees, its really high i would say. Pray to God for healing, and take another 2 pills and went to sleep. Today woke up felt much better, thank God for the healing :)

Just came back from the bank together with my dad and uncle. Wanted to apply for the study loan but realise that I need to print out the application form online to get a lower interest rate for my loan. Also, the bank doesn't offer deferred payment for the loan. Thus, now I've to either find another bank to get the loan (which the interest rate is higher , requirements also a bit high) or to accept the loan and pay every month for it, which may not be possible for me. Shall wait for my Brother to come home and seek his advice on the issue since he got experience in applying the loan.
Please pray for me that I will be able to obtain a loan to finance my study in SIM. Nothing much for now, will be taking my BTT on 30th June (thanks to Jun Yue for securing the date). Hopefully will be able to pass, so that I can convert my license :) Thats it for now, will be going for Church Camp @ Desaru, malaysia from this sunday to wednesday. Will try to make ful use of this opportunity to bond closer with the church member since i've been away for so long.. Pray that I will have a fruitful time in this camp and God will speak to me about His plans for me through the camp too.. Thats all for now.. going for cell group later at 3 but now haven't do the material yet.... ahaa think later must quickly do before i go. Alright will update more when I in the mood la..... Went to the SIM Enrollment Talk just now. Met Brandon and his friend, Qunfu while I was queueing up for the registration. Went into the Lecture Theatre for the briefing, got to know about the varoius modules to take for myself. As I'm seeking exemptions of the module, if I got full exemptions, I will be able to move straight to Yr 2. Then there is this freshman orientation camp coming up also, on the 15-17 July I think, but don't think can make it cos that period i think i'm still attending the bridging course. Also glance through the clubs and interest group available in SIM. Quite limited I would say.

Thank God that managed to have brandon and qunfu as coursemates. Thus, will be starting school on 23rd Jun, same day as my sis, who is going NIE for Degree course. Finally, about to start another phase of my life. Hopefully, with great discipline and help from my friends, I will be able to do well for the course and not to forget the grace that comes from our heavenly father :)

Tomorrow will be going to the bank to enquiry more about the loan. Hopefully everything will be smooth sailing, so that I can secure the loan for my study.

Oh ya! Before I forgot, just now when I'm taking the bus from SIM back home, the whole journey is really horrible. The bus driver is like rushing for time like that, pick up so fast,then when stop brake so hard. especially when approached bends, the whole vehicle is basically swaying. I have to hold on real tight to the bar, some of the commuters almost fell when the bus driver brake so hard. Really very angry, cos the driver is so reckless and inconsiderate about the safety of the commuter. Took down the license no. already, think later will do what singaporean is good at... :) Must not let that happen again, endanger commuter and cos I'm gonna take that bus service in future too.... ahahha :)

hasn't been blogging for quite a while..... Finally Completed my Civilian Conversion Course (CCC) and gotten my long lost PINK I/C!!!! Hooray!! Now basically doing nothing at home, wasting my time. Will be starting school in 2 weeks time. Really can't wait for the day to come.... its really difficult for me to spend even one day at home doing nothing...... Later on will be going down to SIM for the Enrolment Talk. Think among my poly friends, i'm the only one that enrolled under UOL. Hopefully, later on through the talk will be able to know some new friends. Also need to settle my Study loan, tomorrow will be going down to the bank to find out more.

Lastly, our brother Qiu Song is enlisting today!!! Haha welcome to the army life! Pray that everything will be smooth and safe for him. Will see him soon in two weeks time with a new hairstyle hahahaahah....

By the way, will be having Badminton on 21/o6/08, 3-4pm @ YCK Sports Hall, so far got 2 kaki liao, anyone interested to join in for the fun? do let me know if you interested :)

Just came back from work.. today as usual nothing much for me to do. Tomorrow will be my last day of work in the camp, feeling really excited right now :) Thank God for bringing me through the two years of NS life and giving me the opportunity to go overseas to see the world. Now I'm just left with my medical FFI before I ORD.
Today I went to the medical centre to do my FFI. Everything goes very smoothly, but when it comes to my blood test result, the medic told me that they couldn't find it. I was like , 'HUH?'. Cos I have my blood test 2 weeks ago, by right it should be out ler... so ask him to check again. When he come back, again tell me I don't have. At that moment, I was like a bit pissed.... Cos my ord date is friday, then is its not done by wednesday, I would have to go down on thursday which is my off day. If worst, my ord date will be dragged cos without the FFI I couldn't ORD. Thus, please pray for me that my blood test results will be out soon before I ORD.

One more thing, please keep me in your prayer. I've been struggling in my spiritual walk with God ever since I came back from Brunei. Now I'm just like a fly without head, wandering around. Pray that God will grant me strength and help me to focus on Him.

Supposed to be sleeping right now but woke up early to prepare myself for the day ahead. Last tuesday is really not my day. On my way to work, the weather starts to turn bad and begans to rain. was about to get late for work, thus quickly hop on to a cab and try to reach camp on time. However, when reach camp and was walking to my building, realised one thing: I dropped my phone in the cab!! sian half.... called up the cab company to try to retrieve my phone though I know that the chances are not very high.... so called up starhub to temporarily suspend my line, will be going down to the service centre to get a new SIM card for my phone, latest by tomorrow I guess. So if you are trying to contact me for the past few days, i'm sorry cos i couldn't be reach till i get my SIM card on friday.

Going to end my service in the army in just 8 days time? haha so happy :) plus clearing my leaves and off , I'll be left with 2 more working days hhahaaha..... soon i will be free, showing around my pink i/c!! haaha! can't wait for that day sia :)

My weekend in Malaysia

back again to write... went on a road trip to malaysia last weekend together with my best friends, wei beng, jonathan and leonard who join us later. Quite fun i would say, travelling all the way to penang and stayed there for 2 nights. Got stop over at Yong Peng and Ipoh while on our way to Pulua Pinang. We set off from Singapore at 5.45am and reach Penang at around 4pm plus. Went around the places to eat and also went to the night market which is very crowded and happening. Got my sis a necklace at the market there. We also went around visiting the places of interest there.

After our stay there, went of to KL for another 2 days. Went to fetch Leonard who took a flight to join us at KL. After that, drove down to the city to check in to our hotel. Thank God, our hotel is very close to Chinatown. Alot of clothes and accesories there, beng they all start to display their bargain skills.... hhahaha along the way, came across this stall that sells luo han guo logan drink which i totally loves it. Think for that night alone, i drank about 3-4 cups of it. Gotten my self a watch which i really likes and also two shirt which i bought when they are about to close. After that, went to eat again whenever we find something interesting, we will just sit down and order one bowl to try it out. Think this is realy a good way for us to sample the food.

The next day, after our breakfast, we set off on our journey back to Johor Bahru. Reach there about 5 plus 6. Went to watch movie and eat kenny roger at Jusco. After that is the long traffice jam at the custom. In the end, manage to reach Home at around 1.15am. Thank God for the opportunity of the trip and the fun we have together :)

Before I write anything, I would like to wish all mothers, Happy Belated Mothers' Day! Yesterday attedned the church service, the sermon is taken from the scripture on samuel and moses. Didn't really take in alot, but I know that Woman is very strong in emotional and mental. Also that woman needs to be together with man through marriage to be complete, same goes to the man. After that, had a small award ceremony for all the mothers in the church. Thanks to Joan and family, we enjoyed quite a lot. Also, there's announcement on night cycling which will start from Sembawang all the way to town. it will falls on the 6th June, 10pm, gathered at 589A sembawang plce before setting off. Anyone of you interested? If yes, can let me know, will help you to register first. The fee is 12 which includes the rental of the bike.

After church, went to causeway point to have our lunch and then loitered around the area waiting for the movie time to reach. Went to watch the movie: what happens in vegas by cameroon diaz and ashton kutcher. The movie is again some typical romance comedy, just for laugh only. Not bad la.. laugh quite a lot. After the movie, went to starbucks cafe with the gals to have a cup of coffee and thinking of what to do next. After a few hours there, went to find a place to settle our dinner. Due to Mother's day, a lot of places is full of people. In the end, settled down at mos burger. Had a good chat there, basically we just talk about any topic that comes to our mind. I enjoy it alot. The time really passes very fast. After a while, realised that its 9 plus ler.. then the girls went back home while leonard, wei beng and me went to arthur house to watch EPL. Eventually, Man U win the EPL Title. However, I think this will motivate Chelsea to win the Champions league title, (hopefully) ahhahaah.. After that went back home.

Today, woke up, heard from my mum that my sis didn't talk to her yesterday for one whole day. Its because of some monetary issues. Felt rather sad, cos its really not worth it to hold grudges against one another or hurt each other feelings over some monetary issues. I hope that I can explain to my sis about it and she will be willing to listen to my advice. Frankly speaking, I use to have this thought when my family uses the money that i earn in brunei. However, after that I thought it through that money can be earn again but the relationship with your family is very precious. Once broken, it will be very difficult to patch up. Love surpasses everything. This phrase is very simple but yet difficult to practise in our daily life. I think I still got alot to learn about handling the relations with people around me.

Tomorrow will be going back to my unit ler.... a bit sian but no choice. I just pray that I will be able to get over it quick and continue with my life together with my PINK I/C. hahahaha .... 24 MORE DAYS TO ORD!!!!!!!

Living a purpose-driven life

Yesterday went back to unit to submit my docket and at the same time apply my oversea leave for the penang trip. Will be away from 16-19 may. Felt rather weird when on the journey to the camp. Felt like i'm a new recruit reporting to the camp, not knowing which bus stop to alight, its all part of the side effect of leaving the place for so long,near to 1.5 yrs huh.. After done up everything, wet back home to rest, felt really tired and frustrating, cos because of the weather and the long waiting time for the bus to arrive.

When reach home, rest a while, watch a bit of Dvds then at night went out to have supper with shermaine, jonathan, ken and the rest. Ken ask me about the issue on taking up the CE class. Frankly speaking, I didn't really thought about it or should I say totally forgotten about it. I must really apologise for not taking it seriously. Also, Jonathan ask me about taking the worship on 1st june as song leader. Well, its has been a while since i last lead worship in church. Dunno whether can handle or not.

Please pray for me. I've come to realise that ever since I came back, I've been rather lethargic in my personal life and also my walk with God. I seems to be using the phrase 'trying to adapt'as an excuse. I've start to read up the bible again, trying to fulfill the bible reading challenge. I think God is really speaking to me, its just that all this while I've been shutting my ears from Him. Pray for me that I will be discipline enough to read on His word and meditate on it daily. Also, pray that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and also to be submissive too.

Later will be going out with my family to bring my grandma out for meal. Its been nearly a year since I last saw her. Pray for us that it will be a fruitful time for everyone of us. Also, my sis is applying to get into NIE sponsorship for the degree. Now she is waiting for the date to take the test. Please pray for her that she will be able to fulfill the requirements. Now at home slacking..... yesterday went out with jonathan in the afternoon to settle my UOL application while he settle his curtin application. Finally, manage to submit all the necessary documents and now just wait for the 1st term to start. At the same time, need to settle my loan for the course, still thinking of who to find as gaurantor. Hopefully will be able to settle it by this two weeks. After settle our application, went to starbucks to relax. Talk a bit of our life, share with each other about our views on relationship, quite a good chat actually. After that went to meet up with Nick, actually wanna eat at orchard but after that change our mind as we are meeting joyann at TPY Hub so we decided to go there instead. Had a goog chat with nick, talk about the current situation in singapore, and also about the usual topic, NS. After that, nick went off for his cell group while me and jonathan starts to loiter around the place, waiting for the time to pass as its still quite early to the meeting time.

Finally, met up with joyann and proceed to have our meal together. Had a good time of sharing, and she share with us about the issues on trusting the holy spirit. Many a times, we often choose to act on our own even though we known that the holy spirit has already prompted us to do what. In the end, we either took a longer time to complete the task or we failed the task. I agreed that sometimes it really is difficult to listen to the holy spirit especially when the situation seems rather in our favor. However, thru her sharing , i understand that if we listen to the holy spirit, the result we get will be more abundant than the result we get on our own.

After the dinner, we bid each other goodbye and took the train back home. On the way, jonathan ask me for opinion on whether he should take up culinary or entreprenuership. Frankly speaking, I really dunno how to advise him thus i just speak what comes to my mind. Hopefully it will give him some advice ba...... After reaching home, took a hot bath, was about to slepp when ken called me to ask me out for supper. I agreed to go as it is a good time for me to interact with the rest and at the same time build up the bonding again.

The supper wasn't really nice, but enjoy the chatting at the playground. I come to realise that we all have grown up and are facing problems of our own. I can only pray we could maintain our friendship so that we can always share with each other our problems, praying for one another, thats what friends are for.

Been back for few days ler, trying very hard to adapt back to the environment here, especially the weather. Felt rather sick for the past few days, due to the hot and humid weather. Went for Cell group last saturday. Felt rather awkward and a bit not focus cos hasn't been really attending a cell group for so long. Hopefully, as i began to meet up with them more often each week, it will become better ba.

Went to church on sunday, felt really glad to see the people which I have not met for quite sometime. However, couldn't feel the warmth le, may be is because I didn't take the initiative to go speak to them ba. Message for the service is on the topic, God is possible. Think the sermon quite good, telling us that no matter what we do, we can not use it to earn our place in God's kingdom. After that, went for lunch together with Leonard and at the same time went to settle my handphone, gotten a new number : 81574281. During lunch, Leonard updated me about the things that happened while I was away. Felt rather worried for the people, and I pray that things will be sorted out for them. Went back home to rest a while, then headed down to Yishun to meet Jun Hong to buy the gift for Jun Yue's 21st Birthday.

After that, took the bus to pasir ris to meet with Sarah and Zhi Wei. Reach the chalet, but Jun Yue not around. Thus we eat as we wait for him. Saw him then pass him the present, Hope he will like it. After that, Zhi yi came over to join us. At the end of the night, no one stayed overnight with Jun Yue, so Jun hong, Zhi Yi and me stayed with him lor. Talk alot, updating each other of our life. Next morning waited for the chalet personnel to settle the check out. after that went to white sand mall for breakfast then we went on seperate ways. Jun Hong ask me whether want to organise a chalet for our own, still thinking about it.

Please pray for me that I will be able to adapt fast to the environment. Also, my formation badge is missing!! Don't know where I place it sia, pray that i will be able to recover it. Thats it for now, Thanks alot and God Bless!!! :)

Yesterday took half day off in the afternoon to go to the post office to send parcel back home. Spend the whole afternoon at the coffeebean, chatting with Eunice and Edina. After that went to the bus terminal to take the bus to Gadong to meet Arthur for the movie: Ironman. While I was Waiting at the terminal, I saw this interesting scene. There's a bus which fails to start after several tries by the driver. Thus, the driver decided to try jump start the vehicle. Heres the interesting part: He went to ask all the male passenger out of the vehicle to help to push the vehicle while he try to start it. So one by one, they get out and move to the front of the bus to push it. After a few tries, they finally managed to start it and all the passengers get back to the bus again.

I find it rather interesting. The people here are really united and helpful to one another. Imagine, if we change the scenerio to Singapore's context what would happen? All you will get is frustrated passenger who will complain and grumble about it. They will demand for a refund of the fare and worst still may even lodge a complaint about it. Thus, I think that we should learn to be like the people here, try to help one another if we can.

Okay, now talk about the movie. The movie, I would say is not bad la. The plot is rather simple but the best part about the moive is the armour suit for iron man. Its really very nice, and sophiscated. The scene on the weapons is also good. I Think its a show worth watching.

Alright, here I am surfing the net in the canteen, with no one to accompany me out cos most of them are either on duty or simply don't have the money to book out. Lets talk about some happy stuffs. My understudy, Nathan arrived yesterday afternoon. Finally, I could really starts to hand over all my stuffs and equipments to him and began to count down to my EOT. This will be my last weekend in Brunei. Will go out with Chief and Mr. Mohan for meal either today or tomorrow. Actually wanted to go on a road trip today. Cos I've always wanted to hop onto the public transport and travel to places that I've not been before. Don't think got the chance ler.... it will be a small regret for me when i leave this place.

I think this place really change me in my character or should I say, it prepares me well for the working society in the future. I sees quite alot of things, office politics, backstabbing, people being overcome by anger, getting mix up with work and personal issues. It really makes me more independent and tolerance towards other people. I thank God that He send me to this place that I may grow to be even stronger in mental and physical fitness. feel sad that I'm going to leave this place that I called Home for the past 16 months. Will really miss the place and most importantly the people here.

There is a saying, : what doesn't bring you down will only make you stronger. I think it works well for me. Alright, Guys, will see you all REAL soon!!! God Bless! :)

Finally felt a bit relief. Manage to settle my Uni Application, paid the fee ler. Now just need to wait for me to get back to Singapore to settle the application to UOL. Will be having a games day this coming wednesday. Organised by me and my platoon mates for the whole camp. Have been rushing the whole day to tie down on the details. Hopefully by God's grace, we will have good weather for that day. Now just left with the games day and my handing over of stuff before I fly back to my Beloved Motherland!!! Hooray!! 11 days to EOT! will be going back home in less than 2 weeks. Life in brunei is like a small community with lotsa happenings everyday. Every tiny minor thing that we say or do will affect not just the people close to us but all the people living in the community. This few days has been quite a hectic period for me and the people around me. It seems that everyone of us has been thru alot though on surface, all looks calm and alright. I've come to realise that even the closest friend or colleague will have dispute once a while. The main issue is not about point out who is right or wrong (for who are we to judge?) but to come together to settle the issue and move on. My stay in Brunei has help me to grow strong not just physically but also emotionally and mentally. Now all I'm hoping and praying for, is that all of us will be united as before, put aside all the differences and come together to face the problem.

I began to realise that as we grow, the responsibilities on our shoulder will start to get heavier and problems will start to surface, relationship problems, financial problems, work problems, and the list just goes on and on. Whenever we are into all this problems, we will start to feel demoralise and frustrated. All this makes us feel weary and tired. However, let us not forget that God is always there for us ALL THE TIME. Have we really set aside time for God and ask Him to grant us the strength to face the challenges that we face everyday in our daily life? No one is perfect, and we need God, the perfector of our life to guide us and lead us. I must admit for the the past few weeks, I've not really been doing my quiet time. However, as I type the entry, God reminded me and I realise that I've felt exhausted by the worldly things around me that I lose focus on God who is the center of our life.

Brothers and Sisters, do pray for me that God will remind me daily to seek Him for strength and guidance in my life And Let this be a reminded for everyone of us to stay focus on God, our creator. God bless, will keep you all in my prayer just like you have kept me in your prayers too.

back again to update... feeling rather lost and lethargic to the things that is going on in my life. Going to ORD in just a month's time. Dun really know what to expect after I end my Serivce. Felt that I've reach a point of being a bit bo cha about the things that is around me. I dun really felt a bit concern about my application at SIM till my mum call me then i started to work on it. Ironic isn't it? I'm the one thats interested to study the course and even apply for it but now I dun even show some seriousness in it. I really dunno what I want any more. I felt like I've break away from the environment around me. May be is I'm in one of those down and low period again... I dunno.... What I know is I'm going to end my tour in less than a month. I really hope that I will be able to adjust and blend in well with the ppl and environment.

Pray for me that God will show me the way out.........

Currently in canteen, eating and surfing net. Just now went for a short run and head to gym after that for some work out. My left knee has been giving me problem for the past 2 weeks. After some distance of running, it will start to ache and i will have to slow down and some time stop my running. Don't really know what happen to it but guess may be its because I have ''over use" it ba... hahahaha... Felt a bit tired right now, but want to write some thing before i went back to bunk to rest.

Left with 28 more days before I bid goodbye to this place. felt a bit sad, cos this is the place where I've been living for 1 year plus. I've went through alot throughout my stay here and all this has help me to be more independent and at the same time rely more on God. God has also place people into my daily life here that I may share with them about Jesus. People like Jun Nian, Arthur and Edwin. Please continue to pray for me and my camp mates here. Please pray for the personnels who has been regularly going to church service with me but have not really accept God as their Savior. They are: Arthur (who grow up in christian family) and Edwin.

Also, pray for me that even if i left this place, i will still be able to commit myself to God and Always draw near to Him to worship Him. Thats it for now. Will update more some other time. You all take care :) God bless!

Received the documents for my application for Uni. Most likely is taking up Accounting and Finance offered by UOL. School will start on 23 june. That means that i will have around 2 weeks or so free to do anything I like. Will be going to Church Camp, though haven submit the registration form. hahahaha.... btw, confirm my date to return ler, will be coming back on 3rd may(saturday). This time is back for good ler. I will definitely miss this place, where i have spend most of my ns days here. Before I go, will try to attain IPPT Gold and complete the 200km walk a jog marathon. Thats it for now.

Took the IPPT test today. Did quite well for the static station except for, as usual, SBJ. Manage to get furthest, 221cm. Was a bit upset seriously, but decided to move on to the running to see if i could run below 9:44. In the end, after much struggle (almost drop dead), manage to get 10:14 for my running. A bit disappointed but yet at the sam time glad, cos my timing has improved by 20 seconds as compared to the previous test. I must really give God the credits for the result achieved during the test. As I didn't really do much training for the test and yesterday just went to run for 10km, which resulted in tiredness for my body. Will continue to train for my last attempt at the end of next month before I go back Home.

Had been reading on the book entitled, 'these were not be left behind'. It talks about how people of all kinds are touched by the left behind series. Its makes me wonder so how great is the series that it make such a huge impact on these peoples' life. Few years ago, I've watched the dvd on the first book, 'left behind' but just thought that its another illustration of what will happen during the end of time. Now I'm really quited interested in the series. Have been search online to see where i could purchase it. Thus, if any of you kind souls out there know where to purchase the series, please let me know ba :)

Also, one of my camp mate, randolph recently told me that he has accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and savior. I felt really glad for him, cos he has been attending church service with us here regularly. Please keep him in your prayers, pray that the Lord will strengthen his faith in Him as he continue to grow in Him. My platoon mate, Jun Nian also told me that he has decided to accept the Lord as his personal savior. However, when I asked him if he has said the sinners prayer, he say no. when i ask him if i could lead him in the prayer, he say some other time may be. Please prayed for him that he will be ready to pray the sinners prayer.

By the way, received a call from my sis to inform me that I've been accepted into SIM. will be starting the school term in end June. Have to pay a sum of 5k plus for the first semester and the bridging course. Now trying to get the money for the school fee. Will be taking up Study Loan from Bank to fund my studies. Please pray for me that I will not worried so much and God will provide me the amount needed in His own timing and manner.

Will be going back on the 1st week of May. Haven't really confirm the exact date but my replacement will be coming at the end of april. Finally, flying back home at last after staying outside for so long. Don't know how to cope with the change of environment again, hopefully will be able to adapt well. Its been one week plus since I last update. All is well here. Just came back from outfield training, my last outfield before I end my tour here. On my way back, as I watch the scenery that I by pass, I can't help but felt the sadness in my heart. As I know it will be my last time stepping onto the training ground here. Thank God for all the pleasant and unpleasant memories He has granted me for the plast 1 yr plus. After the outfield, reach camp while its raining heavily. Had a small accident, ws climbing down from the tonner when suddenly I slipped and fall from the tonner. Thank God, Just some minor cuts on my hand and my butt. Now the cut on my butt still hurt sia...

The next day, went for the Easter Sunday Service at St Andrew's Church. Enjoyed the service a lot, especially the sermon preached by Bro. Derrick Jacobs from Singapore. He Spoke about his own testimony and how God has change him. God also spoke to me thru his testimony, I've been living in a life that is not glorifying God. I thank God that He gave me a second chance to reconcile with Him. I know that I'm not perfect, but I really pray that I may have the discipline to obey and put God's word into practice.

Yesterday, was using the net, saw En xin add me in the face book so thru that I added her into my Msn Contact. Its really good to speak to some one that is from the same church. Thank God for providing me with another sister to chat with in the net. Alright, Battery is running low again.. got to stop now. feeling quite angry right now. just now caught the laundry bandit red handed. taking out my clothes when the timer has not finished. Some more i kanna before yesterday with my clothes not dry then kanna taken out. so angry sia.. immediately reprimand the culprit, although he say not his but i know he is using the laundry basket pass down from his upper study. So angry sia.... got this kind of selfish ppl living here. some more still cut queue, in future if i caught him again, shall give no chance liao, will activate the whole level to let them know the real culprit!!! Its so frustrated to know that you have been queueing for your turn and it turns out your clothes is taken out when its not even dry yet....

shall not talk about it liao.. anyway, leo today arrived in brunei. Finally sia, got a brother that i know that could come and visit me for a while.. hahaha.. haven't seen him yet but think tomorrow got plenty of time cos i on duty... so got the whole day sia.. hahaha.. will be going for my last out field this month. think after this, will return back to singapore. Dun really know he exact date, but its roughly around end of april ba... please pray for me, that i will have more patience and tolerance towards my fellow colleagues here especially to the 'laundry bandit'..hahahah

Hi everyone, hasn't been updating my blog for quite some time.. so hows everyone doing, guess should be quite busy right with all the studies and workload. Hope you guys and gals are coping well. Anyway, today took a day off to go jalan jalan with my friends. Rented a car, haven't really thought of where to go, think just drive around the whole area, see what we can do and at the same time practise my driving. Hasn't been driving for quite a while thus a bit rusty liao. Now Slacking in Coffee zone @ Gadong while the rest went to do their stuff. Last few weeks has been a rather hectic time for me. Gone through CNY Open House, taking care of the performers and bringing them up and down to the performance area. Really like the job a lot, though there are some problem encountered through out the whole event, but in general it is still a success I guess.

The rest of the time after the event is spend on servicing and maintaining the vehicle. Thank God, after about 1 week plus, we finally managed to finish all the servicing. Now its the period of BLL.. hahahaha.... Alot of the permanent staff is going to leave here for the next two weeks ,all came later than me but go off earlier than me.. haizzz.... its abit sad to see them leave... but I'm leaving too!!! hhaaha in 1 month's time I will be walking on Singapore soil... hahaahaha Now waiting for my last outfield before I say good bye to Brunei which has provided me with lotsa meaningful memories.... well lets talk about some other things ba

Haven been busying applying for universities placing. Currently, I've applied for NTU and SIM. Now I'm thinking of how to get a study loan. don't really know the requirements and details. if you all got any advice on taking up a study loan, I will be glad to hear from you all. I just pray that I could get into a course that I really like. Now still pondering whether to take up the bridging course for SIM. Cos it falls on june which is during Church Camp period. Some more the course is 300 plus and I'm eligible to take up two course to get further exemption for the degree. I'm still thinkng of it right now. Today went to Church early in the morning, but almost miss the transport cos Chief though I not going and there is a bit of communication break down. Anyway, today's sermon is good. Touch on Matthew 5:13 on being the salt and light of the world. Really enjoy it alot, think God is trying to remind me again on continuing to shine for Him no matter where I go. I've still got a lot of bad habit that is needed to change so that I can Shine better for God, please pray for me that what ever I speak or do will give God glory and honor. Also, the worship is good today too, quite a few catchy songs, think will find the chords and lyrics so that when go back can use it for worship to liven up our worship session.

After service, went to pork market to have our lunch. Ate their kway chap. not too bad, quite a lot of ingredient, and plus a glass of their teh-see special, its will be a complete marvelous taste.. .hahahaah... Had come across alot of good food in brunei, think can be consider a half bruneian here and may be like what yvonne say, can also get a bruneian wife here hahahahaah.... After that went to the barber that is near the camp for a haircut. went back to camp, rest a while then change into pt kit to go for training on running and also SBJ. My target is to get Gold before I left here. Thus, my fellow brothers/sisters and friends, do pray for me okay? :) Thats all for now. Hey there, back to update again cos nothing to do now. Went to Shabandar last friday, was appointed to be the front man together with Brandon. A bit sian cos its the third time that I climbed the hill. Thank God that the weather is good on that day, sunny but windy day. Arrived there at 3 plus. We start to climb after some photo taking session at the foothill. This time we took about 1 hour 15 mins to complete the whole trail, its a bit longer as compared to the previous two times. However, whats most tiring is the long wait for the rest of the people to complete the trail. Waited for nearly an hour before all of the rest reach the end point. Headed back to camp after the climb. By the time we reach camp, it already 6 plus. Immediately went to have a quick wash up cos now there is a shortage of water in our area, the whole camp is having water rationing.

After that, went to Wywy restuarant for dinner with Benji. Most of the HOBs went, including DY Comd. We ordered the set meal for 6 persons. Its really worth the money, cos the food is a lot and the fried rice is rather good. the whole set is only 48 dollars, and some more in the end, DY Comd foot the bill without us knowing...... hahhahaa save 1 meal sia.. hahaah. After that borrowed AO's car to go to Mata Mata's Metadore cafe to chill out. The place is really cosy, too bad dun hae camera with me if not will definitely post it on the net for you all to take a look. After that went back to camp to rest.

On saturday, went to have our lunch @ Tian Xin restuarant, Gadong. They served very good claypot rice, and not to forget their 3 sour ping, which is my favorite drink right now. After the meal, went to the mall to watch Rambo 4. Its really so-so la... cos the shooting scene is really very fake.. really pity slyvestre stallone,so old already still need to come out to film, and somemore all the main role like director, producer, script writer all is by him. Must really salute him sia hahahaah...... Went to kiulap after that for massage, really felt relieve from the aching all that. After the session, went to meet Chief clerk and then head down to mata mata's Mamik cafe for drinks and satay, $went back after that.

Today, woke up early in the morning to attend the 7.45am service so that we can make it in time to send Benji off @ the airport. After the service, went to lucky restuarant for dim sum. Really enjoyed the meal, think will bring the rest to the place the next time. head to airport after that, bid goodbye to Benji. I've seen many of those who come later than me but go back before me liao.... haiz... think another few more and it will be my turn to go liao... anyway,went off to camp to shower then go kiulap to find lian sheng and wei rui. Found a good place, where we can surf and the food is also very nice. Think will go there more often.

think thats about all. Will be going for outfield next week so will not be contactable. anything just send a mail to my mail box or wait till i come back lor.. hahaha.. thats it for now, do pray for safety thru out the outfield and will keep you all in my prayers. back to blog again. Now as usual, in coffeezone @ kiulap. Took the IPPT last thursday, not good, struggle in chin up when I pull my no 12 counts, then SBJ could only get 216cm and some more my 2.4km timing also slow down, only get 10:38, which is 40 seconds slower than my previous timing. Now trying very hard to train back my stamina, hopefully I will be able to get Gold before I end my tour here. Oh ya, by the way, I've been promoted again!!!! this time is from CPL to CFC. Rather happy about it, cos this is a new rank, and not many ppl have it so quite proud, though the rank looks a bit ugly.. hahaah.... got a slight increament in the allowance too which is a good thing :)

Almost done with the Chinese New Year open house Decor. Now left with some final touch up here and there. Hopefully everything will goes well on the actual day. This time is my 2nd CNY in Brunei. Gonna miss the reunion dinner with my family and relatives again. Think will make it up to my family next year ba. Oh ya, today i went to the gym!! Its been !@#@$3342112 months since I last step into the gym. Joined Joshua and ADC in training Tri-ceps. Now my Tri-ceps is really aching, can't even wear my shirts properly. Need to slowly put it on. Though its tiring, I think its worth the effort. Hopefully I will be able to lose a couple of kilos ... hahaha....

Now sitting in Coffee Zone Cafe @ Kiulap. Today is the 1st time I book out after being away from here for nearly 3 weeks.... Felt like going out to catch some fresh air, so decided to go to Kiulap where it is less crowded. Went to have my dinner @ Jenny Beef Noodles, had sze chuan spicy beef noodles. Didn't really enjoy the meal as the soup is so oily that I can see a thick layer of chilli oil on the surface. Didn't drink the soup, just eat the noodles and the beef. After meal, head to Hua Ho to help Sgt Jack hunt for spray can but the color is out of stock. Head to Q-lap mall to see if I can get some drama series to help me kill the time but didn't see any that I like.

Walk out of the mall and cross the road to Bakerlyn. Thank God that there is still some orange sponge cake and vanilla donut which I like a lot, available for purchase. Bought the donuts and sponge cake, then head down to Chong Hock, again to find Dvds. In the end, bought 2 dvds but not from the shop but from the shop opposite. Head down to Ayam-ku to help ADC buy his half-spring chicken meal. After that, head down to here to settle down and have a cup of vanilla latte.

Don't know why, even since I came back from Singapore, I've become rather restless even my friend say I've become more quiet and look more fragile.Think I'm tired of staying away from home for so long and its time for me to head back home. Plus, may be the death of my grandma has help me realised how much time I've wasted for the past few years. How I've neglected my family: my mum who I loved alot, my sis who I really dotes on and not to forget my father and my elder brother. Think when I get back to Singapore, I really need to spend some quality time with my family members and also, my friends especially Jonathan and Click.

Please pray for me, that I may be able to spend the rest of my time in Brunei (approx. 3 more months) well. Will be taking IPPT tomorrow, hopefully will be able to maintain my timing. Aiming at below 10:15. Also, pray that I will be able to recover from the sadness that still occupying my heart, I really need to recover from it though I know it will take a while. Thats it for now. Dedicated to my dearest grandma

Flew back from Singapore yesterday, finished with the funeral of my grandma. Felt really tired and sad right now. In my heart, I can’t seem to let her go even though she has left us. I really hope that I could turn back the time, back to the time when I’m just a small kid where she will always be there to take care of me. Even though, as we grow up, we become busy with our life and tends to visit her lesser, she always will ask about how we are doing. When we visit her, she will always be very glad, and will chat with us about our recent life.

I really miss her a lot. I know it’s a relief for her as she has been going through pains due to cancer and lung infection. I just can’t bear the fact that she is gone. I think this pain will stay with us for quite a while, I don’t really know how to cope with it but I will try to.

I would like to dedicate this entry to my beloved grandma. I just want to tell her, “Thank you Ah ma for all the care and love you have for us for the past many years. I know we haven’t been doing our duty well as your grandchildren. I hope that you will be happy in whatever place you are in now. We will take good care of ourselves and stay united as one family just like what you have told us to. We will really miss you…”

Though didn't really manage to click on to their topic at times, but I'm still glad to have them to accompany me to places to eat, watch movie and sitting at the cafe to slack. I really wanna thank God for granting me a group of friends who is always there for me, going through all the ups and downs of my life with me. A big thanks to all my brothers and sisters in Christ and also my friends too!!

Now talking about my life in brunei. For the past few days, have been receiving feedbacks/updates from my fellow aries members regarding the issues of the club. Its really difficult to manage the club sia. Now then I understand how Jun Yue and Halim feelings when they are O I/Cs. Thank God, my RQ is quite a work efficient person so can talk to him not like the previous RQ. Started to prepare for the upcoming CNY open house. Been quite smooth sailing so far, hopefully we will be able to make it a successful one.

Left with 3 more months before I leave this place which have provided me with lots of good and bad memories. Again, the question of what to do after ORD pops up in my mind. I really need to give it a serious thought. Left with like 5 months before I ORD, please pray for me that with God's help, I will be able to make a decision that will please Him most. Thats it for now, Alex is leaving tonight, may be sending him off, later on will be gonig out with Jun Nian to celebrate his birthday. Got to go now will update more the next time . God Bless!! Tonight, I will be taking evening Flight to fly back to Brunei. Feeling quite sad right now, cos thats marks the end of my 2 week (actually its 13 days only) break from my work. Haven't really pack my luggage yet.... No mood sia... later may be will go down to the hospital to visit my grandma before I go back. Time really flies, now I'm left with 5 more months before I ORD. Now need to think about what to do next when I come out of the Army. Study or Work or Both?? Not really sure about it, think will have to come up with a decision asap so that when i come out , i will not be so lost. Dunno what to write ler.. will stop here.

Today is the first day of a brand new year. Decided to spend the whole day at home, slacking and watching Dvds. Past few days has been meeting up wiht classmates, going out with leo they all and visiting my grandma. Last sunday, met up with Heling together with the rest before she leaves for China for 6 months exchange program. As usual, quite a number of ppl cannot make it, in the end only left 5 of us. Had our meal at Hip diners which is also under Billy Bombers. Had Bombers for twice within 3 days... errg... The food is so-so only. After that, decided to head down to AMK Hub for K since all of us lives in the north area. However, half way through the journey, decided to go Heling house for a game of mahjong. Played till like 11 pm cos shiyun need to go back early due to work the next day plus zhong wei also got duty. Thus, that marks the end of our meet-up.

on Monday, went down to the hospital to visit my grandma. She is hospitalised due to breathing difficulties. She's become so fragile and skinny. Really so sad to see her become like this. The doctor say that she got a bit of lung infection and internal bleeding. Thus, the doc give her blood transfusion plus put her on oxygen mask. Now, her condition is stable ler, been transfer out of the high dependency unit. The doc say that what we can do now is only to make her feel comfortable, cos because of her cancer and lung infection, she will anytime leaves us. Stayed there from morning till evening. After that, head down to Bugis with my cousin to help her buy cake from secret recipe but in the end no need, so went to collect JQ's watch too. Headed to Church for watch nite service, after which went to watch AVP 2 at AMK Hub. So so only I would say, nothing much but the ending really sucks..... After that went for supper with leo they all and went home to rest, reach at 5am in the morning.

Spend the whole tuesday at home until evening went to Cherie's house for buffet. Had a good talk with Shermaine and wei beng they all, talking about our future, where to study, what job to get etc... will continue to pray for you all and especially the church that God will help us to unite as one, to help one another and to contribute in the various ministries. After the buffet, went to minds cafe @ Boat Quay for an hour of games. Haven't been there for about a year ler I guess. Had a great time there. After that head straight back to home.

Then today as usual, spend the whole day at home, slacking and watching TV plus chatting with Edina and Hwa Qi. We updated on each other about our lives, its been a long time since we last seen each other. Meet up with pei yung, aina they all for dinner at Ichiban sushi, AMK Hub. had a good chat, even though the quality of the food is so-so plus the waiting time of the seats is super duper long. Hwa Qi, also come and join us. Am really glad that you all could make it even though you all are tired after work. really appreciate it.

Tomorrow will be flying back to Brunei ler. My heart a bit heavy cos it will be another 4-5 months before i see all of you again. Please continue to keep me in your prayers, and do take good care of yourself and be a good testimony to the friends around us. today decided to stay at home to rest. Yesterday went out with Jon they all to ECP for cable ski but cos of my inability to swim in the water, cannot play. Thus decided to pick up swimming lesson even though i'm like a bit too old for that. After that, went on to Parkway Parade to have our lunch and shop around in the area, bought an DVD and cd by Eagles.

After that,we went to this place thats near Tanglin, around Dempsey Road for Ben and Jerry Ice Cream. The place is really very secluded, away from the general crowd. Nice place, good environment but the things there may be too expensive for many of us at the moment. Will be good for chilling out at there with a batch of friends, best you travelled there with car cos its quite inaccesible. After that, we went back to woodlands as Beng needs to go for work at Botak Jones. Send him to work liao then we head down to CWP for Movie: National Teasure 2. This is my second time watching liao, so no much of a difference for me, as usual the action n all the puzzle is well designed. Head to Botak Jones for Dinner, the portion is really huge, can't finish it sia... think can go again cos the food is really not bad and the price is quite affordable. Went back home after that And that marks the end of a day....

Now I've roughly set out my new year resolution for 2008:

- Learn to Swim
- To pick up piano lesson.
- Get into a Uni

Hi everyone been back to singapore for quite a few days ler.... quite busy for the past few days because of the Christmas season. Spending most of the time, going out with my buddies, eating, shopping, watch movies.... had our christmas celebration at 589A yesterday. Quite enjoyed the fellowship with the rest. Went off half way after worship to go to Cindy's 21sty birthdya party at the sky garden at jeluntong CC. Saw a lot of friends who I've not been in contact for the past few years. Am glad that they all doing well in their various work. Its really very difficult for me to strike a conversation with them as many of you may know, I'm not a person that will strike conversation with ladies first, especially with friends that I've not seen for quite some time. It went well, saw Cindy, pass her the present (Hope she likes it) then stayed a while for buffet plus cake cutting.

After that went back to 589A to meet up with the rest. Had a good chat with Nick. He told us that God has really been good to us, putting us in leadership roles in various ministry in our church. He believes that we are capable to take up the roles in the ministry that God wants us to go. Its time to let us go, and to focus on platoon 17 to nurture them into leaders. At that moment, I suddenly felt very heavy at heart. What he say is true....We've all reach 21 years old ler... have been in the church for the past 6-7 years... taking up various roles in youth, mission, music ministry. We've been in the lime light for so long, its time to move on and let God put us into the ministry that He intends for us to go to. Nick told us that the youths even Shermaine they all are also looking upon us as examples... that means we have to set a good example so that the rest may not be led astray. Frankly speaking, I really dun want to move one, cos I felt that I'm not really to take up the responsibility that is waitng ahead of me. I'm afraid cos What I do may affect the rest..... I just want to commit everything into God's hand. Also, I wanna thank God for bring Nick into my life to be my mentor, sharing and guiding me through out my life in BB and even now at church.

I prayed that I may be able to be humble and submit myself entirely into God's hand and let
Him take control of my life.....

Today is a loner day for me. All of my camp mates booked out on their own. Thus, decided to do some shopping before I go back to Singapore tomorrow. Hop on the public bus at the bust stop outside the camp. Head to Delima to buy some chocolates... at first, have some difficulties in locating the shop. after some walking around the area, finally found the shop. Stayed in the shop for about 30 minutes, saw some very nicelly wrapped chocolate. Think you peeps will like it. After that, head down to bandar to continue the shopping. Initially, wanted to take the public transport, then a van stop by and ask whether want to hope on, $1 only. This is the 'private' transport in Brunei. As I didn't want to wait for the bus, so just hop on. Its quite fast actually, but after hop on a bit regret cos its not really safe, as you dunno where the driver will bring you to. Thank God reach the destination safely.

Reach there, didn't shop for anything but just do some window shopping. Saw the Pc game: Max Payne 2 on the shelf for sale. A bit tempted to buy it but in the end didn't (thank God sia). After that, went to Kiulap via the water taxi. Went to watch the movie: National Treasure at Seri-Qlap Mall which premieres today. Not bad I would say, but kind of simple with no twist of the story. Will give it 3 out of 5 star. After that, went to Bakerlyn to buy some bread. I must say their bread is really delicious. Now I'm at a Internet cafe, using internet. Will be flying off tomorrow or in 23 hours time .....hahah..... Can't wait to see you Guys !!!! Will update more when i return ba:) God Bless!

Tiring & frustrating day for me

Today has been a tiring and frustrating day for me... Took part in the IPPt this morning. Result was encouraging but yet disappointing. As usual, manage to secure all the static stations with 5 points each except for the SBJ. This time, its even worse.. didn't manage to get 225cm (silver std) , only manage to get 221. Super sad sia..... However, after that went on for the running. Manage to hit my best timing: 9:56!! its a huge improvement from my last timing which is 10:48. At least its a show of sign that I'm closer to the Gold std. Thank God for all the strength and endurance through out the run and all the statics stations. After that, went back bunk for quick wash up before going to work.

Work today is really tiring. Especially when people who has nothing to do, slacking and happily chit chatting in front of me. I really hates it man... and also, people keep pushing me to complete my task even though i told them i will be able to complete it on time. Really pisses me off... plus today did quite a lot of fatigue work, really shack me out. Thank God, all my tasks are completed, now left with the vehicles to work on before I fly back for 2 weeks break. Hopefully. will be able to fix back my vehicle before I go back, if not will get another scolding from 'someone' when I return.

Feel rather high in morale cos gonna go back soon in about 3 days time. Really misses Singapore, all my friends, family, and not to forget my church mates :) Will see you all in SG soon :) God Bless!
